Seward, Alaska
Seward is about halfway between Anchorage and the Kenai Penninsula, off of the Seward Highway. You could easily spend a day in this quaint town. This is a tourist destination, so bring extra money; as prices change during the tourist season, nothing is cheap here, but I wouldn’t miss it.

Kenai Fjords Tours
Alaska’s most popular One-day tour departs from Seward. Tours are fully narrated by an accredited wildlife interpreter and include a visit to the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge – home to a large variety of whales, sea lions, sea otters and more.
This cruise differs from that of it’s Whittier counterpart, in that you will see marine and wild life, where as Whittier focuses on glaciers. They offer many different cruise options, to meet your needs, including a dinner cruise. Many Alaskans will recommend Kenai Fjords.
