We fish some of the most beautiful coastal waters in
the world where our fishing experience is frequently
enhanced by glaciers, whales, bald eagles,
sea-lions, sea-otters, puffins and a multitude of
other species indigenous to our waters.

OUR VESSEL
Our
custom built 30” Glacier Craft was built late in
2006 specifically for charter fishing in Gulf Coast
waters. These vessels are the most popular custom
made boats in Seward’s thriving charter boat
industry. Nearly 15 of them operate daily sport
fishing trips from Seward. Glacier Craft is known
through out the business for their extremely stable
and seaworthy vessels. They are used by the High End
lodges and by smaller operators who insist on using
the best.
The
“GOT FISH “is powered by 2 super quiet Yamaha 200
horse power 4 stroke outboards. These reliable
environmental friendly workhorses allow us to cruise
at 24 knots, making no spot beyond our range.
Equipped with state of the art electronics that
insure a safe and productive days fishing. Our
electronic package includes Furuno GPS/ chart
plotter, dual- frequency fish finder/fathometer, 24
mile surface radar, and dual Icom VHF radios.
Custom
order construction allows you to be comfortable
while fishing or cruising.
Custom
Built features include a fully enclosed, private
standup head, extra interior seating, and large
dinette table. The large fishing deck allows you
plenty of space as you battle the big ones, with a
cavernous in deck fish box.
“GOT
FISH!“ Meets or exceeds the required Coast Guard
safety for a 6-pac charter boats.

OUR
TACKLE
The
“GOT FISH!” carries 3 three different rod and reel
set ups. Of course you are welcome to bring your
own. We supply what we consider to be the most
reliable gear on the market. Above everything else,
fishing in Alaska demands that your equipment
deliver when you do battle with monster fish.
Our rod
and reel of choice for salmon and shallow water rock
fish is the 7’ Shakespeare Ugly Stick. Coupled with
the efficient Shimano TR 220 G reel and filled with
Berkley’s Big Game 25 lb test mono line. Fantastic
action with light gear, this combo holds up when the
unexpected happens. We have landed several halibut
over 100 lbs. with this set up.
Our mid
weight choice is the 7’ Shakespeare Ugly Stick Tiger
model, again with the Shimano TR 220 G reel, only we
spool these with Berkley’s Big Game 40 lb test mono.
These are a little heavy for the experienced salmon
angler. The 40 lb test line gives the novice
fisherman a little extra insurance, yet provides a
great feel and an excellent hook setting ability
when drifting for Ling Cod, Yellow Eye or Halibut.
The big
gun on the “GOT FISH” is the Penn Mariner Stand Up,
this stout 5’ model paired with the Shimano Tekota
700 and 100 lb test Spider Wire braided line. A
deadly combination if you are a Halibut or large
Ling Cod.
